Hajj 2023: 475 Adamawa pilgrims depart for Saudi Arabia
The first batch of 475 Muslim pilgrims from Adamawa State have been airlifted in Yola on Sunday by a plane belonging to Aero-Contractors for 2023 Hajj in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
While confirming the departure, the Public Relations Officer of Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission, Yola, Alhaji Mikail Danjuma Mubi, said the flight left the Yola International Airport at 9:18 pm, Sunday, with some officials of the Commission.
He explained further that the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Malam Abubakar Salihu, as well as members of the state government delegation led by the Chairman, Dr AbdulHafiz Inuwa, were at the airport to bid the pilgrims farewell.
