Gov poll: BVAS won’t stop electoral malpractice, says Primate Ayodele
The presiding minister of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah ,Ayodele, has disclosed that Bimodal Verification Accreditation System is not the solution to Nigeria’s election malpractices ahead of the rescheduled governoship and state House of Assembly elections to hold on Saturday March 18, noting the BVAS has been manipulated.
Primate Ayodele warned that the electorates should not rely on BVAS noting the device cannot curtail rigginging. He described the BVAS as a rigging technology.
According to the statement by his Media Aide, Oluwatosin Osho, the cleric stressed that there would be massive rigging and the mighty would fall.
He maintained that many popular candidates who don’t know what to do will be rigged out of the elections, he then charged every one of them to go back to the drawing board to avoid being rigged out of the elections.
Ayodele said, ‘’There will be a tsunami in the governorship elections that will be held tomorrow, the mighty will fall, don’t underestimate any party and there is no way rigging won’t be in tomorrow’s election even with the BVAS. Everyone should go and work because BVAS will not stop rigging, rigging has come to stay in Nigeria’s election.’’
‘’BVAS is not the answer to Nigeria’s election malpractices, it has been manipulated. Some people will be rigged out technically, and BVAS will rig out who is popular and bring in the unpopular. Don’t rely on BVAS, it is rigging in a technological way.’’
‘’Anyone who wins may not be removed by the court except God changes the mind of the judge, the rigging will be so perfect.’’
