Eid-El-Kabir: Ansar-ud-Deen hails NAHCON over successful 2023 Hajj
Ansar-ud-deen Society of Nigeria has felicitated Nigerian Muslims on 2023 Eid-el-Kabir celebration and hailed the National Hajj Commission for a successful Hajj exercise.
This was contained in a statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary, Muhammed Sola Hassan, noting that this 2023 Eid-el-Adha was some what easier for the global Ummah, compared to what was experienced couple of years, adding this is because the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia increased pilgrimage allocation this year.
“I congratulate you, all Nigerian Muslim Ummah and the entire Muslim World on this auspicious occasion of the 1444AH Eid-el-Kabir celebration. I pray to Allah to grant us the privilege of witnessing many more in good health.
“Alhamudillaah, this year’s Eid-el-Adha is relatively easier for the global Ummah, compared to the last couple of years. This is because the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Custodian of the two holy mosques) increased pilgrimage capacity this year; hence, all interested countries were given increased Hajj slots. I hope and pray this is sustained for many years to come.
“In the Nigeria scenario, I wish to commend NAHCON for their efforts to make the exercise a hitch-free one. In the same breath, I wish to encourage them to double their administrative and oversight efforts on their licenced agents to minimise or even eliminate all challenges experienced by intending pilgrims. Some of the graphics of stranded pilgrims at our airports have gone viral for several days, and these are not good for our image as Muslims,” Hassan said.
