Buhari’s CoS Gambari bags Nasarawa traditional title

The Chief of Staff to the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, has been conferred the traditional title of Zanna Yawu Dima of Lafian Bare-Bari which means the “Defender of the Dynasty”.

Gambari was conferred the title by the Emir in Nasarawa State, during a two-day business visit to Nasarawa state.

The CoS said the honor will create an inclusive and cohesive society where everyone will be content, safe, and proud to be a citizen.

He further urged Nigerians to embrace one another and cooperate for the prosperity and growth of their nation, adding that the country’s peace and unity should come first, and authorities must strive tirelessly to promote harmony and tolerance across ethnic groups.

Similarly, he advised Nigerians to keep supporting President Buhari as much as possible, arguing that the success of the country depends on it.

Gambari, who had previously visited the Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Development Institute, Lafia, stated that the structure, along with the other five AMEDI in the nation, was a symbol of the federal government’s serious commitment to the development of agriculture throughout the nation.

He expressed certainty that AMEDI Lafia, developed by NASENI, would quickly become a center of excellence for agricultural machinery and equipment that would allow Nigeria to reach new heights for agricultural output and a center for agro-allied technology.

“It is a good pleasure for me to be here physically, groundbreaking ceremony was done on August which I am proud to be associated with, and now I am here to see the tremendous progress that had been made since that time. By God’s grace, before the end of this administration this would be commissioned.”

For the work he has been doing all throughout the nation, the Chief of Staff thanked the executive vice chairman of NASENI, Prof. Mohammed Sani Haruna.

Gambari also applauded Governor Abdullahi Sule for a number of his accomplishments in the state.

At his palace, the Justice Sidi Bage rtd., emir of Lafia, later welcomed him.
