Tweeps knock Anglican priest for kneeling before PDP gov candidate

 

 

Tweeps have knocked an Anglican Bishop, Rt. Rev. Onyeka Onyia of the Nike Diocese in Enugu State, for kneeling before the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Enugu, Barr. Peter Mbah.

Viral video of the incident showed moment where the priest went on his knees to convince Mbah to relocate his seat to the front row in the church.

Despite the pleads, Mbah chose to remain on his seat.

The incident was said to have occurred during a thanksgiving service in honour of a former minister of power and steel, Venerable Prof. Chinedu Nebo

The incident has continued to generate mixed reactions as some berated the priest for kneeling down before Mbah.
