The General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on Wednesday, annioted the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke.

This was made known through a press statement released by the spokesperson for the governor, Mallam Olawale Rasheed.

While in Ifewara for the opening of the Jennifer Etuh Medical Centre, Pastor Adeboye, accompanied by his wife and senior pastors of the RCCG, urged Governor Adeleke to continue to govern with the fear of God, saying that so long as the governor upheld the path of God, he would continue to earn God’s favour.

He said, “I remember Baba Adeboye anointed and prayed for me. His prayer for me is answered and I am here today as the Governor of Osun State.

“Baba has again prayed for me and re-anointed me. I will continue to toe the path of God. I govern by the fear of God. I will not derail as my governorship is anointed by God”, Adeleke declared.

Adeleke added that his agreement with God was the driving force behind his constant singing and adoration of God.

He said, “When Baba Adeboye was anointing me, he asked me to continue to sing and praise God. So when you see me dancing and praising God, that is my promise to my God as instructed by God. That is my secret.”

Adeboye praised the ultra-modern, multibillion-naira medical and vocational centre at Ifewara during its opening as a divine intervention for the locals, and he prayed to God to bless smaller towns without access to government medical and educational programmes.

While praying for the Etuh family and the soul of the late Jennifer, Pastor Adeboye praised the many human intervention programmes that the Etuh family had supported and promoted in an effort to improve people’s lives. He urged well-meaning Nigerians to reach out in friendship to their family members.

Adeleke later opened the medical and vocational centre while joined by his brother, Dr. Deji Adeleke, the Chief of Staff, Kazeem Akinleye, Sunday Bisi, Adewale Egbedun, Niyi Owolade, Rev. Bunmi Jenyo, and others.

The Jennifer Etuh Foundation, which is in charge of constructing the medical centre, was motivated by the late Mrs. Etuh, who gave the order to construct similar facilities in six federation zones before she passed away. The third of the planned medical facilities is the Ifewara Medical Centre.
