Alhaji Muhammad Kari has been chosen by the Bauchi Emirate Council to serve as the new Wazirin Bauchi and a council member.
According to Daily Post, this was disclosed by the council’s Information Officer, Babangida Jahun on Thursday.
According to Jahun, the new title bearer will be turbannd on Friday at the Emir’s palace.
Kari was appointed after Alhaji Muhammadu Bello-Kirfi was fired on January 3.
He was removed from office for “disrespect and disloyalty” to Governor Bala Mohammed and the state government.
