The president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has visited the Oba of Lagos, Rilwanu Akiolu, to show the monarch his certificate of return.
Tinubu visisted the Oba at his palace, in Iga-Iduganran, Lagos State.
He was received at the airport by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Chief of Staff, Tayo Ayinde; former Lagos Deputy Governor, Femi Pedro; veteran politician Senator Musiliu Obanikoro; former Commissioner for Environment in Lagos, Muiz Banire and Woman Leader in the state, Jumoke Okoya-Thomas.
Tinubu won the presidential election conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission on Saturday, February 25, defeating close rivals such as Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party; Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party.
