Pastor Kumuyi attend Adamawa crusade in ‘Babanriga’

The General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi, at a crusade in Yola, Adamawa State, went against his usual public outfit, suits, and wore a traditional outfit instead, the ‘Babariga’.

Babariga, which is a similar attire to the Yoruba ‘agbada’, is worn by men mostly in northern Nigeria.

Kumuyi shared pictures from the crusade via his Twitter handle on Wednesday saying, “We bless God for the reception of the Word of God through the Global Crusade at Yola, Adamawa State. The #Adamawa_Gov State government, the people, and the Christian community, in general, were fully on the ground, supporting God’s project!”

The Deeper Life Bible Church’s spiritual leader arrived Yola on Wednesday, November 23, for a six-day ‘Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK)’, which drew over 70,000 people from Adamawa State and beyond.

The crusade began on Thursday 24th to Tuesday 29th, November, at a venue owned by the Church, the Deeper Unity Camp Ground in Kwanan Waya, near Yola.

The six-day crusade was themed, “The Power That Never Fails” and it drew attendance from not only the Deeper Life Bible Church but people from other denominations and faiths.
