Lagos monarch Olugoke dies at 87
The traditional ruler in Egbe Idimu Local Council Development Area, Onidimu of Idimu, Oba Azeez Dada Auko Olugoke has died at the age of 87.
Oba Idimu death was announced in a statement on Sunday, issued by the Chairman of Egbe Idimu Local Council Development Area, Sanyaolu Olowoopejo.
While adding that Oba Olugoke died in the early hours after a brief illness, Olowoopejo, said that the burial rites would soon be announced by the family.
He commiserated with the royal family and the residents of Idimu town over the death of the traditional ruler.
The LCDA Chairman described the deceased monarch as a peace loving man who had immensely contributed to the development of the community.
Idimu is one of the densely populated towns in Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos state, the largest populated council in Lagos.
